An antidote herbicidal composition for use on plants of the Brassica type susceptible to the damaging effect of galauxifen includes (a) herbicide-effective amount of galauxifen or its salt or ether acceptable from the point of view of agriculture, and (b) an antidote including one or more herbicides capable of providing antidote protection against galauxifen to plants of the Brassica type or its salt or ether acceptable from the point of view of agriculture, selected from a group consisting of clopyralide, quinclorac, aminopyralide, picloram, their salts, esters and their combinations acceptable from the point of view of agriculture. The invention also concerns a method for antidote protection of plants of the Brassica type susceptible to the damaging effect of galauxifen, including applying an antidote herbicidal composition to crops of plants of the Brassica type contacting with undesirable vegetation, or applying an antidote herbicidal composition to a nearby area. ;EFFECT: proposed antidote herbicidal composition is based on the unexpected effect of showing the antidote activity of herbicides against galauxifen and providing effective protection of plants of the Brassica type from undesirable vegetation, while the composition is safe for plants of the Brassica type.;39 cl, 41 tbl, 5 ex
