PULSE-TYPE COMPOSITION FOR MAINTAINING WEAKLY ACIDIC ENVIRONMENT IN VAGINA

Disclosed is a pulse-type composition for maintaining a weakly acidic environment in the vagina. A composition for maintaining a weakly acidic environment in the vagina according to an embodiment of the present invention is a pulse-type composition for maintaining a weakly acidic environment in the vagina, which maintains vaginal lubrication and moisturization in a weakly acidic environment according to changes in the vaginal acidity of a woman, and releases an organic acid in an alkaline environment to change the vaginal environment to a weakly acidic environment. The composition comprises 100-1,000 parts by weight of hydrogel formed by comprising: 0.1-10 parts by weight of an organic acid; 0.1-20 parts by weight of a pH-dependent polymer which dissolves when acidity in the vagina of a woman is pH 4.5 or higher to release the organic acid present inside; 0.1-50 parts by weight of an antifungal agent; and the remainder of water. Thus, the composition has lubrication and moisturization functions and is released when the vaginal pH environment is weakly acidic, is converted into a viscous and sticky gel in a neutral environment to maintain the acidic environment for a long period of time, exhibits antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action, rapidly releases the organic acid in an alkaline condition, and discharges foreign matter from the vagina, and thus can be used in monitoring the vaginal environment and initial diagnosis.
