Problem: the waste water at high temperature is quenched to separate the compound produced mixture, and the impurities containing sulfur and nitrogen are removed, and the olefin, diene and oxygen are hydrogenated to recover the effective components.A method for separation and purification of products from catalytic rapid pyrolysis of biomass is described. In a preferred method, a portion of the product from the pyrolysis reactor is recovered and purified using a hydrogenation step that reduces the content of sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen components, hydrogenates the olefin, and produces an aromatic product that meets the commercial quality standard.Diagram
