A route establishing method and apparatus, an electronic device and a computer storage medium. The route establishing method comprises: determining, in a communication network, a network node sending target data as a source node, and a network node receiving the target data as a destination node (S101); according to at least a node communication distance balance rule and a node power balance rule which have been set, determining a relay node from network nodes in the communication network apart from the source node and the destination node, the relay node being used for forwarding the target data sent by the source node, such that the target data can be received by the destination node (S102); and according to the source node, the destination node and the determined relay node, establishing a route for the source node to send the target data to the destination node (S103). Hence, the route establishing method enables the relay node participating in the route establishment to meet the requirements of a communication distance for forwarding the target data, and also meet the requirements of the power or energy consumption required for forwarding the target data.
