Disclosed is a preparation method for a lithium-ion battery pole piece, comprising: mixing a binder and a solvent well in a mixing tank, and adding an active material and a conductive agent after the binder is completely dissolved to obtain a paste; applying the paste to the surface of an electrode sheet, and then spraying a pore-forming material to the surface of the electrode sheet coated with the paste, the pore-forming material is the same as the solvent in the paste; drying the coated electrode sheet; and rolling the dried electrode sheet. According to the preparation method, the porosity gradient direction of the original electrode sheet can be reversed, and a lithium-ion battery pole piece having a loose center and dense ends can be produced, so that carrier (lithium ions and electrons) transport resistance is effectively reduced, and the carrier transport capability is improved, thereby greatly improving the power characteristics of the battery. Because lithium ions can be transported to the vicinity of a diaphragm more easily and pass through the diaphragm, the concentration of lithium ions in the area of the battery pole piece close to the diaphragm is higher than that in the middle area close to a current collector, so that the battery power is greatly increased.
