Problem to be solved.The orthopaedic surgical instrument includes a customized patient surgical instrument having a body.The body has a bone facing surface and an outer surface positioned opposite the bone facing surface.The body includes several bone contact segments raised against the bone facing surface.The bone contact segment includes a concave contour formed to fit the corresponding convex contour of the patient's bone.The convex contour corresponds to the silhouette curve of a three-dimensional model of a patient's bone corresponding to the contours of the bone captured in the image used to generate the model.The body further includes a number of surgical guides extending from the outer surface to the bone contact surface or to the bone facing surface.Methods related to instruments are also disclosed.Diagram
