To provide a method of producing a labelled metabolite in which many labelled metabolites labelled with a stable isotope can be produced simply and inexpensively, a method of quantifying metabolites using the production method, and labelled metabolite producing kit.SOLUTION: A labelled metabolite production method involves producing a labelled metabolite labelled with a stable isotope by metabolizing in a cell extract, labelled compounds in which at least one intramolecular atom from a compound has been substituted with a stable isotope. A method of quantifying a metabolite involves quantifying a metabolite by mass spectroscopy using the labelled metabolite produced in the labelled metabolite production method as an internal standard substance.
