PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress contact of an adjacent hammer or hammer assembly.SOLUTION: The hammer assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a rotational member, which rotates around a rotational axis; and a weight supported by the rotational member, the weight including a plate-like part expanding in a direction perpendicular to the rotational axis and having a larger specific gravity than the rotational member does, the plate-like part including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and having a first region and a second region thicker than the first region, the first region having a thickness defined by the distance between the first surface and the second surface in the most distant part from the rotational axis, and the first region having a projection surface in the direction of the rotational axis smaller than that of the second region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
