A processing method and apparatus for generating a heartbeat tag sequence using a heartbeat time sequence, the method comprising: acquiring a heartbeat time sequence (110), the heartbeat time sequence comprising multi-lead heartbeat data; according to a set data volume, performing data cutting on the multi-lead heartbeat data to obtain multiple groups of heartbeat analysis data (120); performing data combining on the multiple groups of heartbeat analysis data to obtain four-dimensional tensor data {B, H, W, C} (130); performing tensor format conversion processing on the four-dimensional tensor data, shrinking the height data in the four-dimensional tensor data to 1, and compressing the width data, the output being a {B, 1, W₁, C₁} output tensor (140); converting the output tensor to obtain a feature tensor {B, W₁, C₁} (150); multiplying the feature tensor by a randomly initialised weighting matrix to output an embedded feature tensor {B, W₁, d_model} (160), d_model being the dimension of a feature vector inputted to a Transformer model; and inputting the embedded feature tensor into a trained Transformer model to output a heartbeat tag sequence corresponding to the heartbeat time sequence (170).
