PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing a silane coupling agent using a urethanization reaction without using an organic tin compound to solve the problem of yellowing of a silane coupling agent itself or yellowing with time of a cured product of a dental curable composition containing an organic filler treated with the silane coupling agent since an inorganic filler blended in a dental curable composition is surface-modified with the silane coupling agent in order to improve mechanical strength or wettability and a soluble organic tin compound has been conventionally used in the silane coupling agent requiring a urethanization reaction.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for synthesizing a silane coupling agent in which no organic tin compound is contained in the silane coupling agent synthesized using a heterogeneous tertiary amine-supported catalyst without using a soluble organic tin compound in the urethanization reaction in synthesizing a silane coupling agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
