PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation in which measurement of settlement is possible with high accuracy and from outside, a method for constructing the foundation, a method for inspecting the foundation after construction, a method for managing location information of an architectural structure, and various jigs used for the methods.SOLUTION: A method for constructing a foundation according to this invention comprises at least a step of acquiring three-dimensional coordinate data of land, a step of acquiring three-dimensional coordinate data of an outer formwork using jigs for inspecting a formwork corner portion and a formwork straight portion, a step of comparing the three-dimensional coordinate data of the land and the tree-dimensional coordinate data of the outer formwork to adjust the location of the outer formwork when necessary, and a step of installing concrete to form a bottom slab.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
