Situation-adapted Global Pooling System and Method for Transfer Vehicles in Automated Container Terminal

A contextually adaptive automated container terminal transfer vehicle global pulling system and method are presented. A method for global pooling of a transport vehicle in a context-adaptive automated container terminal according to an embodiment includes: receiving a request for task assignment from a transport vehicle in an idle state; Based on the time when the request is received, the optimal transport vehicle-work pair combination is searched for by using the transport vehicle task allocation algorithm in a combination that matches a transport vehicle that has no currently being performed or the job is ending soon and a job that needs to be processed soon to do; and assigning the task to the transfer vehicle when there is a task matching the transfer vehicle requesting task assignment in the optimal transfer vehicle-work pair combination obtained as a result of the search.
