Disclosed is a bipolar electrode stack type reserve battery having an output characteristic improvement structure that can significantly increase output characteristics and use time due to an effect of increasing an electrode area by implementing a series-parallel composite structure. A bipolar electrode stack type reserve battery having an output characteristic improvement structure according to the present invention includes: a case having an open lower portion and an internal space; a stacking guide coupled to the inner space of the case; an electrode cell mounted on the stacking guide to generate electricity; a header coupled to the open lower portion of the case to seal the inner space of the case; and an ampoule mounted in the inner space of the case and filled with an electrolyte therein, wherein a plurality of electrode cells are vertically stacked, each unit cell having an anode, a separator, and a cathode, and the plurality of units and an anode-to-anode wiring for connecting at least two or more anodes of the cells to each other, and a cathode-to-cathode interconnection for connecting at least one cathode of the plurality of unit cells to a case.
