Disclosed are an apparatus and method for automatically extracting issue words from various documents such as e-mail, payment, and posting of an online system within a company, and analyzing a connection network between issue words based on this, and providing it to a user. An apparatus for automatic issue word extraction and connection network analysis according to the present invention includes: a collection unit for collecting online texts; a keyword extraction unit that morphologically analyzes the collected texts to extract an entity name and main keywords other than the entity name; an issue word extraction unit for extracting issue words based on the number of appearances of the entity name and main keywords; a network analysis unit that analyzes a connection relationship between the issue words to generate a network of issue words; and a visualization unit that visualizes and outputs the connection network.
