The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus, a storage medium, and an electronic device for detecting a dispensing sequence. The method includes: acquiring a video stream of a gaming desktop, and detecting a game card from a plurality of image frames included in the video stream; in response to detecting a newly added game card from at least one of the plurality of image frames, determining whether the newly added game card is in a target state where dispensing is terminated; determining game information corresponding to the newly added game card after it is determined that the newly added game card is in a target state where distribution is finished; and determining, based on the game information, whether an order of dispensing the newly added game cards corresponds to a predetermined dispensing order.
