The present invention provides an activated T cell in which expression of an immune checkpoint molecule is suppressed, a method for preparing the T cell, and a method for screening a substance that can be used for preparing the T cell. Specifically, the present invention provides a method for producing or inducing T cells in which expression of immune checkpoint molecules is not induced, which reduces or loses the function of glucosylceramide synthase (UGCG) or gangliosides of T cells. The above methods, including those, and T cells produced or induced by the method are used as a solution.
