Medical Imaging Method and System for Simultaneous Implementation of 3D Subtraction MR Arteriography, 3D Subtraction MR Venography and Color-coded 4D MR Angiography by the Post-processing of 4D MR Angiography
The present invention relates to a method and a medical imaging system for simultaneous implementation of 3D subtractive arterial angiography, 3D subtractive venous angiography, and 4D color angiography through post-processing of image information of 4D magnetic resonance angiography, the method comprising: loading a 4D MR Angiography image repeatedly taken from the aortic arch to the tip of the head, extracting the entire or a necessary area, and storing it as a file having full image information including time, space, and signal strength information; checking whether the 4D MR Angiography images are arranged in chronological order by opening the saved file and outputting the subtracted MIP images arranged in chronological order; determining arterial, capillary, and venous phases by designating ROIs on the M1 segment and the sagittal sinus of the MCA to generate time-signal intensity curves of arteries and veins that change with the concentration and flow of the contrast agent; After separating the vascular image information according to the arterial phase, capillary phase, and venous phase, arterial and venous signals are extracted from the arterial phase image information and the venous phase image information to make 3D Subtraction MR Arteriography and 3D Subtraction MR Venography. Color coding with different colors according to the time of viewing; and storing and outputting image information of 3D Subtraction MR Arteriography and 3D Subtraction MR Venography in grayscale and color scale, and storing and outputting color-coded 4D MR Angiography and color-coded 3D MR Angiography images.
