The present application belongs to the field of medicine. The present application relates to GLP-1 polypeptides having GLP-1 receptor agonist activity and uses thereof. The present application also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the GLP-1 polypeptide. More specifically, the present application relates to a GLP-1 polypeptide having GLP-1 receptor agonist activity or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the GLP-1 polypeptide comprises a threonine at position 13 on the GLP-1 amino acid sequence. It is characterized by having a mutation to proline.
