Timing for reference signals in multiple nomic wireless communications

Describes methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication. The user equipment (UE) may receive instructions from the base station to transmit one or more sounding reference signals (SRS) on each component carrier (CC). Each CC can be associated with a different numerology, and the UE can determine the transmission timing between the receipt of the instruction and each transmission of the SRS, based on the numerology for the CC used for transmission. In some cases, the UE is associated with each numerology, which may be based on the number of symbols for the numerology, the corresponding time between receiving the instruction and sending the uplink data (eg, SRS), or a combination thereof. The transmission timing can be determined based on the time duration. The UE may transmit each SRS to the base station according to the determined transmission timing.
