An acquisition unit (15a) detects an operation event of a user, and acquires the location of occurrence of the operation event in an operation screen, as well as a captured image of the operation screen. An extraction unit (15b) extracts, from the acquired captured image, images capable of being candidates for a GUI component, specifies, from the location of occurrence of the operation event, which image the operation event occurred on, and associates and records said image and the time of occurrence of the operation event. A sorting unit (15c) sorts a collection of these recorded images into clusters, according to the degree of similarity between the images. For each cluster resulting from this sorting, a determination unit (15d) sums the number of occurrences of operation events on the images, and if the value of the sum is greater than or equal to a prescribed threshold value, determines that the images included in said cluster are images of a GUI component being operated at the times of occurrence of the operation events.
