The present invention comprises the use of the biochemically produced sandalwood oil as part of a perfuming composition or of a perfuming consumer produce. The present invention comprises the use of the biochemically produced sandalwood oil as an anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory agent, and also as an arthropod control composition.
