An operation method of a portable terminal, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: acquiring measurement information corresponding to a first coordinate point of a first wall surface and a second coordinate point of the first wall surface; determining structure information of the first wall surface connecting the first coordinate point and the second coordinate point, on the basis of a linear function calculation of the first coordinate point and the second coordinate point; completing indoor structure information including one or more closed spaces according to a process of connecting other wall surfaces sequentially in a first direction corresponding to the first wall surface; providing a virtual object mapping interface corresponding to the indoor structure information; and generating virtual object information mapped to the indoor structure information, according to an input of the virtual object mapping interface.
