METHOD FOR DETERMINING MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF HIGH-ENERGY MATERIALS

FIELD: blasting.;SUBSTANCE: invention is used to control the physical and mechanical properties of blasting agents (hereinafter – BA) by acoustic emission (hereinafter – AE) signals. The preparation of test samples from the test material, which are subjected to mechanical influences in combination with synchronous recording of indicators of controlling devices and building of appropriate graphs of the dependence of deformation values on the acting loads and time values, is carried out. Initially, the prepared samples from the blasting agents (BA) material of a given composition, similar to the test one are tested. Based on the test results, a database (hereinafter – DB) of critical loads corresponding to the full destruction of given material samples is formed. Then, a complex loading of the studied independent groups of BA samples is performed with the mechanical effects of subsequent tensile forces acting on some groups of samples and compression forces acting on other groups of samples. The loading in these groups is carried out in an increasing mode until the moment corresponding to the maximum value of the AE activity, which is no more than 55% of the critical load determined by the DB of critical loads. In parallel with the loading of control samples, readings of recording devices are taken and graphs of the dependence of acoustic-emission parameters on the loading time and deformation diagrams are built. Based on the above-mentioned graphs, the maximum values of the AE activity, the moment of time corresponding to this value, the load and deformation of the sample are determined. Based on the obtained data, the desired mechanical parameters of the test samples of BA are determined. ;EFFECT: providing possibility developing an informative, reliable and safe method for non-destructive control of changes in properties of BA in the process of exposure of various mechanical forces that occur during the operation and storage of BA.;1 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
