In a posture measuring system for measuring the balance function of a subject based on plantar pressure and a wire rod and a posture measuring method using the same, the posture measuring system includes a plate part, a plantar pressure measuring part, a support part, a wire part, a rod measuring part, a calculating part and includes judgement. The plate part is positioned so that the subject stands up thereon. The plantar pressure measurement part is provided on the plate part, and measures the plantar pressure of the subject. The support part supports the body of the subject. One end of the wire part is connected to the support part, and the other end is connected to the frame part. The load measuring unit measures a load applied to the wire unit according to the support of the examinee. The calculator calculates a balance score in each posture of the subject based on the measured plantar pressure and load. The determination unit determines whether the subject has a disability based on the calculation result of the balance score.
