An object of the present invention is to provide an eye drop for dry eye treatment for suppressing apoptosis caused by hyperosmotic pressure of lacrimal fluid. The present invention relates to an eye drop for treating dry eye, comprising diclofenac or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for inhibiting apoptosis caused by hyperosmotic pressure of lacrimal fluid.
