Disclosed are a microdevice for paper-type isothermal amplification and a method for detecting pathogens using the same. The micro device according to embodiments of the present invention can quickly read the presence or absence of a target gene or whether cells in a biological sample are alive or dead using methylene blue. Therefore, screening is possible in a very simple way. In addition, since the movement of the sample is made by the folding action of each pad, a separate complex configuration (valve, pump, etc.) for transferring the sample is not required, and because it is based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification, a complex heating device is not required. It is possible to simply configure the entire micro device. In addition, since the first and second substrates are manufactured using paper materials, disposal or treatment after use is simplified, it can be used as a disposable point-of-care diagnostic kit.
