ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND ACCESSORY HAVING BOTH QUICK CHARGING FUNCTION AND AUDIO TRANSMISSION FUNCTION

The present invention provides an electronic device and an accessory having both a quick charging function and an audio transmission function. The electronic device can be connected to a charger and an audio connector respectively by means of the accessory. The electronic device comprises: a quick charging controller and a device Type C female socket; the quick charging controller is configured to perform, when the accessory is connected to the device Type C female socket and the charger is connected to the accessory, quick charging protocol communication by utilizing an SBU pin of the device Type C female socket and a D+ pin and a D- pin of the charger connected by means of the accessory. The present invention overcomes the conventional concept of using CC pins to perform quick charging protocol communication in the existing quick charging method, and thus quick charging can further be achieved during use of the accessory also having the audio transmission function.
