A device shall have the following characteristics: a first majority of conductive strips with longitudinal orientations in a first direction; a selector matrix covering the first majority of conductive strips; an electrode matrix covering the selector matrix; a majority of memory strips over the electrode matrix; and a second majority of conductive strips covering the majority of memory strips. The majority of memory strips and the second majority of conductive strips have longitudinal directions in a second direction that is vertical to the first direction.
