Disclosed are a real-time monitoring method and apparatus based on mixed reality, and an electronic device and a storage medium. In the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present application, position information is acquired, and a corresponding device to be monitored is then determined on the basis of the position information; and device information and real-time state data of said device are extracted, the device information and the real-time state data are annotated in corresponding video data and a corresponding graphical interface, and then, the video data and the graphical interface are encoded and output to a terminal device for displaying. By means of the above-mentioned technical means, the technical problem in the present rail transit industry of it only being possible to view state information of a device but not being possible to view the actual situation of the device during the monitoring of the device is solved, and the technical problem of it only being possible to view a device entity but not being possible to view detailed state information of a device during on-site patrolling is solved; and by means of annotating state data of a device in video data of the corresponding device, the convenience and security of the monitoring and patrolling of the device are further improved.
