The present invention relates to a cap with integrated or added neck flap and visor, comprising a "crown" (200), a "visor" (300) and a neck flap (100), specially designed to be turned up, folded over the "crown" (200) and held in this position. The neck flap (100) is composed of a stack or four layers, including two intermediate layers referred to as "inner insulating layer" (109) and "outer insulating layer" (111) sandwiched between two layers of textile referred to as "inner support layer" (108) and "outer support layer" (110). The insulating layers (109) and (111) are made of a thin film of metallised polyethylene terephthalate which is used to make survival blankets and the main verified characteristic of which is to return, by reflection, 90% of solar radiation when the white and shiny (silvery) surface is directly opposite said radiation. The visor (300) is designed to tilt from front to back while maintaining its characteristics. The cap is provided with an alert in the event of too high a temperature, and means for locating the wearer by GPS.
