PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molybdenum absorber of pseudo-boehmite alumina having a higher Mo absorption amount than medical alumina used for currentMo/Tc generators and having a mixed phase of χ and γ and capable of recovering Mo which is absorbed at once, and aMo/Tc generator using the same.SOLUTION: A molybdenum absorbent comprises pseudo-boehmite alumina having a specific surface conversion absorption amount of molybdenum (Mo) in a range of 0.273 mg/mto 0.368 mg/m, and because the absorbent can recover absorbed molybdenum with a simple method, it is effective as aMo/Tc generator for providingTc from natural isotope orMo condensed Mo by using a (n,γ) method.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
