PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molybdenum absorber of pseudo-boehmite alumina having a higher Mo absorption amount than medical alumina used for current 99Mo/99mTc generators and having a mixed phase of χ and γ and capable of recovering Mo which is absorbed at once, and a 99Mo/99mTc generator using the same.;SOLUTION: A molybdenum absorbent comprises pseudo-boehmite alumina having a specific surface conversion absorption amount of molybdenum (Mo) in a range of 0.273 mg/m2 to 0.368 mg/m2, and because the absorbent can recover absorbed molybdenum with a simple method, it is effective as a 99Mo/99mTc generator for providing 99mTc from natural isotope or 98Mo condensed Mo by using a (n,γ) method.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
