PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a fraction having a PPARδ activation action from fresh Grifola frondosa, the raw material of which can be supplied stably throughout the year, and which has been eaten for a long time and has sufficient safety, and obtain a fatty acid metabolism promoter therefrom.SOLUTION: An ethanol extract, extracted from Grifola frondosa with ethanol, is partitioned with water and ethyl acetate to obtain an ethyl acetate extract, extracted as an ethyl acetate phase, which serves as a fat metabolism promoting component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
