A high-precision PET reconstruction method and apparatus based on GPU acceleration, relating to the field of GPU imaging. The method comprises: inputting an initial estimated image, and performing a forward projection operation on the estimated image to obtain an estimated projection (S100); comparing the obtained estimated projection with an actually measured projection to obtain a comparison result (S200); performing a back projection operation on the comparison result to obtain a corrected image (S300); multiplying the corrected image with a voxel corresponding to an original image, and then removing a sensitivity image to complete one iteration, wherein an obtained image is an input estimated image for the next iteration (S400). In the method, by means of a GPU acceleration strategy, a PET iteration reconstruction algorithm is improved so as to carry out fast calculation to obtain a high-resolution and high-precision three-dimensional PET image.
