Disclosed are a hole transport material and a method for preparation thereof and an application thereof; the general structural formula of the hole transport material is the formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from one of a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a diarylamine group, and a fused heterocyclic ring group. The present invention uses an O part to replace the S in the BTBT core to obtain the BTBF core structure, and combines the advantages of benzothiophene and benzofuran; further, by means of modifying the BTBF, a series of BTBF hole transport materials are designed. The hole transport material of the present invention has high charge carrier mobility and high triplet energy level, and has very good stability, solubility, and fluorescence, and is conducive to improving the overall performance of an organic semiconductor device.
