The virtual clock (vU) of the process instance assigned to the first computer system (20) is synchronized with the Grandmaster Clock (26) of the first computer system (20) (106),and states and/or data of the first and second part software processes as well as associated time stamps in the computer system running the respective sub-process (20, 50) are stored locally (108).
