To make suppression of stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of stainless steel, nickel-based alloy, etc. constituting a structure and equipment inside a nuclear reactor pressure vessel and suppression of flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) of carbon steel constituting piping, equipment, etc. of a reactor water clean-up system (CUW) compatible with each other in a nuclear power plant into which hydrogen and a catalyst such as a precious metal are injected.SOLUTION: The nuclear power plant is provided that comprises: a nuclear reactor pressure vessel having a reactor core; water supply system piping supplying water to the nuclear reactor pressure vessel; and nuclear reactor clarification system piping connected to the nuclear reactor pressure vessel. A regenerative heat exchanger, a non-regenerative heat exchanger, and nuclear reactor clarification system clarification equipment are installed in the nuclear reactor clarification system piping. The nuclear reactor clarification system piping is connected in such a way as to merge with the water supply system piping and to inject hydrogen and a catalyst into reactor water. An oxygen injection device is installed in an upstream part of piping including carbon steel of the nuclear reactor clarification system piping. A dissolved oxygen concentration meter is installed in a region on the upstream side of a place where the nuclear reactor clarification system piping merges with the water supply system piping, and on the downstream side of the regenerative heat exchanger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
