A method of driving a display panel includes generating first compensation data corresponding to a first frame and second compensation data corresponding to a second frame adjacent to the first frame based on first grayscale data; outputting the first compensation data to a data driver in a frame; outputting first smoothing data having a value between the first compensation data and the second compensation data to the data driver in the second frame; and outputting the second compensation data to the data driver in an nth frame (n is a natural number) after the second frame. Accordingly, the display quality of the display panel may be improved.
