The present invention provides organic electroluminescent materials and their applications in optoelectronic devices. The organic electroluminescent material has the structure of formula (I). Compounds of this type include imidazole and indenopyrrole building units, spiro ring structures of molecules, and are advantageous for inhibiting intermolecular stacking. This type of compound has relatively good thermal stability, is applied to electroluminescent devices, and has properties such as excellent luminous efficiency and excellent color purity, so it has potential to be applied in the field of organic electroluminescent devices. The present invention further provides an optoelectronic device, comprising an anode, a cathode and an organic layer. The organic layer is at least one of a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, and an electron injection layer, and the organic layer has the compound of formula (I) in at least one layer.
