Polyline contributor in civil engineering

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved computer implementation method for civil engineering. A method of calculating a contributor includes providing a mesh representing a terrain, a polyline on the mesh, and calculating a contributor of the polyline. The contributor calculations were calculated to modify the mesh by determining the trench below the polyline based on the polyline, and to calculate the watershed segmentation of the terrain based on the modified mesh.
