The method for vacuum arc remelting of titanium alloy ingots of VT3-1 brand includes the final remelting of the consumable electrode, consisting of the initial melting period, the main melting period and the end of the melting process - removing the shrinkage cavity. The main melting period is carried out with an arc current from 9 to 11 kA and an established arc gap of 8-14 mm, maintained with an accuracy of ±0.5 mm.
