PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-size solid electrolytic member showing a high proton conductivity even in a temperature region of about 700°C or below.SOLUTION: A solid electrolytic member having a proton conducting property and comprises: an electrolyte layer 11 located between a cathode layer 12 and an anode layer 13; and a pre-anode layer 14 laminated on a face of the anode layer 13 on a side opposite to a face where the electrolyte layer 11 is formed. The electrolyte layer 11 includes a perovskite metal oxide. The anode layer includes NiO and the metal oxide. The pre-anode layer 14 includes: an oxide including ZrO; NiO; and a reactant of an oxide including ZrO, NiO and the metal oxide. The metal oxide is a metal oxide represented by the following formula [1], or a mixture or solid solution of the metal oxide: ABMO[1].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
