FIELD: mechanical engineering. ;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for determining the angle of deviation from a horizontal plane. The inverted pendulum system with a hypertrophied period of oscillation contains a spherical body filled with liquid. The lower hemisphere of the body is sound-permeable. The body has: a bracket, the upper part of which is rigidly attached from the inside to the upper hemisphere, and a gimbal unit is installed on the lower part of the bracket, by means of which a disk with a float is movably attached in the diametral plane of the sphere. The disk has a center that coincides with the geometric center of the sphere and divides the inner part of the body into upper and lower hemispheres, and a diameter smaller than the diameter of the said body, where the disk divides the internal volume of the liquid into two parts and is balanced with respect to the center coinciding with the center of the sphere. The disk with a point of movable fixation located on the gimbal is made with the possibility of movement within the body in such a way as to occupy a random arbitrary position within the structure, where the restoring moment, turning the disk to a horizontal position, creates a hollow ring on the edge of the disk from the side of the upper hemisphere.;EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of keeping the horizontal position of the device relative to the gravity vector.;7 cl
