Diagnostic test reader system

A diagnostic test reader system is provided comprising two or more reader modules and at least one mother module. Each reader module contains a unique code and is configured to read a specific test cartridge type. Each of the reader modules is configured to receive commands from the mother module and in data communication with the mother module to transmit read and/or derived data to the mother module. The mother module can be configured to communicate individually to each of the reader modules.
