To provide a processing method of marine organism resources capable of relatively easily producing the marine organism resources in which an elution amount of heavy metals is suppressed.SOLUTION: A processing method of marine organism resources containing seaweeds or shellfish incorporated upon water-intake of sea water includes a process of mixing a heavy metals insolubilization agent to the marine organism resources containing a water component and a process of drying a mixture after the mixing process. In the processing method of the marine organism resources, a process of heating the marine organism resources containing a water component is further preferably provided. The marine organism resources preferably contain arsenic. It is preferable that the heavy metals insolubilization agent be iron powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
