To provide a bone cement applicator for the storage of starting components of a bone cement dough and for the mixing of the bone cement dough.SOLUTION: A bone cement applicator is provided, comprising: a cartridge 1 with an internal space 11, whereby the cartridge comprises, on a front side, a cartridge head 6 with a dispensing opening for expulsion of the bone cement from the internal space, and whereby the cartridge comprises a thread 8 on a rear side; a dispensing plunger 12, whereby bone cement powder 4 is contained between the dispensing plunger and the cartridge head in the internal space; a threaded tube 9, whereby the dispensing plunger is arranged such as to be mobile in the internal space in the direction of the cartridge head by screwing the threaded tube into or onto the cartridge; a receptacle 2, whereby the receptacle is plugged into the threaded tube on a side opposite to the dispensing plunger and is mobile in the threaded tube; and a mixing rod 7, whereby the mixing rod with a mixer 10 is arranged in the internal space, whereby the mixing rod is connected, on a side opposite to the mixer, to a front side of the receptacle that faces the dispensing plunger, whereby the mixing rod is guided through a feedthrough in the dispensing plunger, and whereby the mixing rod is connected to the receptacle such as to be detachable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
