To provide a package and a tag which have an outer coating exhibiting metallic color or metallic luster while having an electronic chip used on RFID and can maintain a desirable structure and stable shape.SOLUTION: The paper container is made of processed paper and protects merchandise and the tag is made of processed paper. The processed paper includes a base material made of paperboard and a vapor deposition layer of tin or tin alloy which is provided on the surface of the base material and is formed such that electromagnetic waves can penetrate. It is characterized in that an RFID chip that identifies merchandise is arranged on the processed paper. The vapor deposition layer of tin or tin alloy is penetrated by electromagnetic waves generated when the RFID chip is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
