Disclosed in the present invention is a heat pump technology-based air outlet drainage-type sludge drying system in the sludge drying field. The system mainly comprises a heat pump set, a sludge conveying unit, and an air loop system. A condenser in the heat pump set supplies hot air flow, and an evaporator condenses and absorbs water vapor in wet air flow, thereby achieving the purpose of drying. The sludge conveying unit is mainly responsible for sludge supply, conveying, and loading. The pressure of the water vapor rises after the hot air flow absorbs moisture of lower sludge, thus reducing a vapor pressure difference for mass transfer with upper sludge and reducing the mass transfer efficiency. In the present invention, an induced draft fan is provided at an air outlet of a drying room to generate a local low pressure, thereby effectively increasing the mass transfer pressure difference and improving the drying efficiency. Moreover, a heat regenerator is provided in an air loop of the heat pump set, thereby improving the energy utilization efficiency, optimizing the performance of the sludge drying system as a whole, and increasing the sludge treatment efficiency. The system can be applied in sludge treatment.
