PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionic nucleophilic catalyst comprising phosphonium ylide and a precise control capable alcohol acylation method using the same, as despite organic molecular catalysts are expected to have low environmental burden, few examples of organic molecular catalysts have been used for selective acylation reactions.;SOLUTION: Provided is a selective acylation reaction of alcohol in which phosphonium ylide synthesized with tetraarylphosphonium salt as precursor is used as ionic nucleophilic catalyst, comprising steps of: 1) the phosphonium ylide nucleophilically attacks on an acid anhydride used as an acylating agent; 2) phosphonium salt is formed as an intermediate; 3) the alcohol nucleophilically attacks the phosphonium salt intermediate; 4) acylated alcohol is generated and phosphonium ylide is regenerated.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
