Transesterification of ester compounds with reactive groups under transesterification conditions with heterogeneous catalysts

Methods and preparations for non-uniform transesterification of compounds having one or more ester groups and reactive groups under transesterification conditions, such as 1,1-disubstituted arcene compounds, with alcohols or esters. The new composition is disclosed. Further disclosed are novel compounds and compositions prepared as a result of the method.
